The successful candidate will be collaborative, open, transparent, and team-oriented with a focus on team empowerment & shared responsibility, flexibility, continuous learning, and a culture of automation. What You’ll get to Do: • Utilizes Data Analytics to analyze existing operational processes and develop metrics and reporting to optimize and improve program & operational performance. • Creates new metrics and data visualizations to monitor shop floor performance. • Analyzes lead times, queue times, work-in-process, cycle times, and throughput to meet customer demand most effectively and efficiently. • Builds scalable and sustainable models to optimize product flow, while incorporating cost, schedule, and resource constraints. • Develop optimized scheduling tools and align SAP/MRP systems with an executable plan given various capacity constraints. • Communicates requirements, planning, and systems framework with IT, ERP, business analytics, and data science teams. • Must be available on-site to support manufacturing and its schedule of operations. • Solid written and verbal communication skills. • Solid interpersonal and critical thinking skills. • Solid presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate thoughts and ideas. • Microsoft Office Excel, including macros, data mining, and pivot tables, or data visualization software applications. • Commitment to ethics and compliance. • Ability to collaborate in a team environment. • Ability for infrequent travel ( Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor’s of Science degree with 2 or more years of industrial engineering or manufacturing experience. • Experience with time studies and work center capacity modeling. • Experience with shop floor controls (SOPs). • Experience with Process control methods (SPC/control charts). • U.S. citizenship required. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with improving manufacturing workflow using optimization, modeling, or simulation methods. • At least 1 year of demonstrated manufacturing experience. • Experience with Lean Manufacturing Methods. • Experience with SAP S/4 HANA Cloud ERP system. • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment. • 2 years of demonstrated experience leading project teams. • Experience with SQL, Python, VBA, or other programming languages. • Familiarity with workstation ergonomics. • Experience with agile methods of project management or development.
