The Northrop Grumman Classified Solutions team is seeking a Sr. Principal Cyber Software Engineer . The selected candidate will be required to work on-site, full-time at our Honolulu, HI location . Note: Due to the classified nature of the work being performed, this position does not offer any virtual or telecommute working options. The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following: • Develop solutions to national security threats with products that may involve software engineering, messaging systems, infrastructure engineering, and vulnerability research of network and communication systems. • Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. • Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software. • Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems. • Software development including with scripting languages. • Ensures software standards are met. Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and 8 years of related professional experience in engineering, or a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 6 years of related professional experience in engineering. • The selected candidate must have a current, in-scope U.S. Government Top Secret/SCI security clearance with an investigation completed within the last 6 years or be enrolled in the U.S. Government Continuous Evaluation Program; the required security clearance must be maintained as a condition of continued employment. • Candidate must be able to obtain a Special Access Program (SAP) clearance before a start date
