Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Strategic Planner – Level 3 or Level 4, to join the Space sector Strategic Development organization, reporting to the Senior Manager, Strategic Development.  The selected applicant will become a trusted member of a team responsible for leading Sector-level strategy, investment planning, and associated efforts.  The preferred location for this role is McLean VA , or Redondo Beach CA .  We will consider other major NGC Space sector locations.   This role can be filled at either a Level 3 or 4.   Role and Impact: • Collaborate with division and business unit leadership and strategy leads to understand their businesses, strategies, pipelines, and investment needs. • Partner with NGSP Chief Technology Office, division, and business unit teams to develop and recommend specific internal investments leveraging supporting data and financial analyses. • Work with strategic planning and technology planning leads to comprehend NGSP’s strategic objectives and the associated capability needs and gaps, developing investment plans to close those gaps. • Communicate NGSP internal investments strategy to multiple stakeholders, including corporate, sector, division, and business unit executive leadership through presentations and briefings. • Conduct strategic assessments of current financial plans, manage internal investments budgets, and support investment reviews to advance the development and refinement of the sector’s Long-Range Strategic Plan (LRSP). • Work with sector, division, and business unit teams to adjust or reallocate investment budgets and plans as needed, both in-year and in preparation for future years. • Maintain records of budget and project approvals, pressures and opportunities, and associated documents. • Support the development and continual refinement of the divisions’ integrated strategic internal investments, includ
