Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector has an opening for multiple Project Management positions, these positions can be filled with either a level 3 (Principal) or a level 4 (Sr. Principal) depending upon the education and experience of the candidate. The position will be based in our San Diego, CA office. Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients. This individual contributor position is for the role of a Program Integrator. The selected candidate will be part of a diverse organization of project integrators within the Program Operations Homeroom. The candidate is responsible to oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and team operations. This individual contributor will work side by side with the Integrated Product Team (IPT) lead on program reporting, metrics generation, and special projects. The candidate should have an understanding of program management and they should adhere to NG processes and apply them to working internal projects. They should have knowledge of industry practices and standards and demonstrate the skill and ability to perform professional tasks. This individual should possess leadership and team building capabilities and have strong interpersonal skills. Must possess solid organization abilities and be a motivated, flexible team player.
