The Director, Clinical Value Liaison — North East is a senior field based medical leader responsible for advancing clinical value, access, and appropriate adoption of cell therapy across complex healthcare ecosystems. This role operates within Medical Affairs and engages with payers, authorized treatment centers, and community oncology practices to address clinical, economic, and system-level barriers that impact patient access and outcomes. The CVL complements Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) by focusing on system level value conversations—including evidence needs, referral pathways, site readiness, and community oncology enablement—while maintaining strict non promotional boundaries. Territory: Northeast: Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York (Upstate & Central) NY Metro: New York (Downstate / Metro), New Jersey, South Connecticut (Stamford area) Mid Atlantic: Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, District of Columbia, Virginia, West Virginia Specific responsibilities: • Provides vision and direction for the assigned Medical Affairs team • Leads and manages a team of Medical Affairs professionals directly and indirectly including the line manager for the field-based MS team • Provides clear strategic guidance for the development and execution of the TA strategy, the medical Plans of Action (POAs) and cross-functional projects • Ensures continuous development and training of the team and individual team members based on Gilead´s Competency Models; acts as a coach and mentor for team members • Sets clear performance expectations that are aligned with company and department goals; monitors progress and delivers fair and effective performance reviews • Plans and monitors the departmental budget • Leads hiring of the team and ensures excellent onboarding of new team members • Participates in the exchange with the medical community and maintains a thought leaders network Involved in the development and execution of the cross-functional product and TA strategy: • Contributes to the development of the Market Access strategy i
