Position Summary The Senior Analyst, Software Development Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing, and supporting software applications that enable business and operational objectives. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure technology solutions while participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle. The position requires strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement and customer-focused delivery. Required Qualifications • 3+ years of software development or application engineering experience. • Experience developing and supporting enterprise applications. • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, C#, .NET, JavaScript, similar technologies. • Experience with SQL and relational database technologies. • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and Agile methodologies. • Experience with source control tools such as Git. • Familiarity with API development, system integrations, and web services. • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. • Experience with healthcare PBMs, insurance, or other regulated industries. • Experience with automation, scripting, or process improvement initiatives. • Experience supporting production applications and incident resolution. • Knowledge of security best practices and secure coding principles. • Experience mentoring junior developers or supporting technical knowledge sharing. Education • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. • Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered. • Relevant technical certifications are preferred but not required. Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $72,100.00 - $144,200.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.    Our people fuel our future.
