Job Description: Manager II, Semiconductor Supply Planning & Procurement About the Position Are you an experienced people leader who can bring together semiconductor commodity strategy, supply planning, procurement execution, and operational excellence to ensure critical components are available when and where they are needed? We are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Manager II, Semiconductor Supply Planning & Procurement to build, develop, and lead a team of commodity procurement managers and a buy-sell procurement operations manager supporting HPE Networking sustaining products. The team is responsible for managing the supply of critical semiconductor and memory components, including memory, CPUs, FPGAs, silicon, wireless, and other electronic components. Responsibilities span component forecasting and planning, supplier engagement, procurement execution, inventory management, allocation management, and supply risk mitigation. In this role, you will provide leadership, direction, and operational governance across the component portfolio. You will establish priorities, balance resources, standardize processes, and ensure the team delivers consistent results that support customer commitments and business objectives. You will be accountable for overall component supply health, inventory performance, forecasting effectiveness, procurement execution, and continuity of supply. You will collaborate closely with suppliers, distributors, inventory hubs, ODM/CM partners, engineering, planning, procurement, finance, and operations teams. The ideal candidate combines strong people leadership with deep semiconductor supply chain expertise, operational discipline, business acumen, and the ability to communicate complex supply situations to senior leaders. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership • Lead, coach, and develop a team of commodity procurement managers and procurement operations professionals. • Balance resources and priorities across commodities to ensure business objectives are met. • Establish team priorities, goals, performance expectations, and accountability measures. • Foster a culture of collaboration, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. • Support employee development, succession planning, and capability building. Supply Planning & Forecasting Management • Own overall supply health across semiconductor and memory commodities. • Lead cross-commodity supply reviews and mitigation plans for shortages, allocations, and supply constraints. • Lead the team responsible for component forecasting and supply planning, driving forecast accuracy, supply visibility, and alignment with business requirements. • Drive initiatives to improve inventory performance, supplier reliability, and continuity of supply. • Escalate and resolve critical supply risks impacting production, customer commitments, or business objectives.
