Title and Summary Director, Finance Business Partner Overview The Director, Finance Business Partner position is part of the Consumer Products & Processing (CPP) Finance team and is responsible for business planning, decision analysis, and finance support for CPP product teams and supporting organizations. CPP is responsible for the strategy, product design, and management of consumer payment products and value-added capabilities that support Mastercard's consumer value proposition and growth objectives. The role requires strong financial acumen, thought leadership, and the ability to serve as a trusted advisor to Product leadership. The successful candidate will translate financial and operational data into actionable insights that influence business strategy, investment prioritization, performance management, and executive decision-making. Role • Serve as the primary finance point of contact and trusted advisor for assigned CPP product teams and supporting organizations, with responsibility for operating budgets, financial models, forecasts, and analysis to support business strategies. • Partner with the business to evaluate growth opportunities from strategic, operational, and financial perspectives, including potential investments, partnerships, and new product initiatives. • Develop financial models and business cases to support product investments, resource requests, and strategic priorities. • Drive financial performance management through analysis of results, variance drivers, risks, opportunities, and corrective actions. • Develop materials to support ongoing business reviews, including Monthly Performance Packages, Operating Reviews, Business Unit Reviews, scorecard updates, and KPI dashboard reviews. • Develop, track, and analyze key business performance metrics on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. • Lead support for annual budgets, forecasts, strategic planning, and executive business reviews. • Collaborate with accounting and FP&A teams on financial forecasts and maintain ongoing assessments of spending risks and opportunities. • Partner with Engineering and Engineering Finance to review and prioritize technology investments and resource allocations. • Support efforts to drive revenue growth, profitability, and operating leverage across the CPP portfolio. • Support effective cost management, investment prioritization, and efficiency initiatives. • Prepare and present financial analyses and recommendations to Finance, Product, and executive leadership teams. • Lead and support cross-functional projects and initiatives that support CPP and Consumer Solutions strategic priorities. All About You • Proven track record of accomplishments in finance, business partnership, FP&A, or related disciplines. • Payments, financial services, or technology industry experience preferred but not required. • Strong business partnership skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment across cross-functional teams. • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to make thoughtful recommendations with incomplete information. • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative. • Excellent project management, follow-up, and organizational skills. • Strong prioritization
