As the Export Sales Order Management Team Leader to oversee our export operations and lead a team of skilled professionals. In this crucial leadership role, you will guide your team in ensuring our export sales orders meet all regulatory requirements, managing essential documentation, overseeing the export flow process, handling customs declaration management when relevant, and monitoring the intercompany automation model. You will foster strong partnerships with Logistics and Sales & Operations Execution teams and drive continuous improvement in our export processes. Your leadership and deep understanding of export processes will be vital in maintaining smooth operations and compliance across our global export activities. Main responsibilities: • Service delivery oversight – Leads the team responsible for end-to-end export sales order management (order taking, validation, shipment documentation, delivery, invoicing) ensuring timelines are met and internal/external customer inquiries, requests, and returns are handled smoothly. • Cross-functional coordination – Organizes local and hub-level interactions, particularly around customer stock management with Customer Fulfillment representatives, to ensure flawless process execution. • Performance & compliance monitoring – Tracks operational KPIs, ensures adherence to Sanofi policies/guidelines, and works with the Sales Order Management Manager and local stakeholders to build remediation plans when needed. • Team leadership & coaching – Supervises and coaches Export Sales Order Analysts, shares expertise, manages workload/resource allocation, and oversees the full employee lifecycle (recruiting, evaluation, development, retention, performance management). • Culture & engagement – Fosters collaboration, trust, and teamwork through strong leadership and communication, with a focus on employee retention and engagement, including maintaining up-to-date job descriptions. • Continuous improvement – Manages a pipeline of process improvement opportunities, drives automation initiatives, and participates in regional/global projects to enhance efficiency. • Training & development – Ensures proper onboarding of new hires and identifies training needs for direct reports, providing access to procedural, work instruction, and job-related professional training. About you Experience : • At least 3-5 years experience in Order Management, Order to Cash, Customer Service, contract & commercial conditions management or similar (essential) preferably in Pharma • At least 2 years experience as a team lead • Deep expertise in international trade regulations, including export operations and documentation requirements • Understand commercial policies, pricing, rebates, on-off invoices, returns and claims policies (essential) • Experience in running services within a Business Services organization (advantageous) • Experience in in transition project (advantageous) • Good business acumen (advantageous) Skills : • Technical proficiency – Hands-o
