About the role

General Repair Technician (Level C) Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a General Repair Technician (Level C) to join the CMS Section Assembly team in St. Charles, Missouri . In this position, the technician will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and repair of Harpoon and SLAM electronic components. Position Responsibilities Include:   • Maintains equipment and systems by removing, replacing, repairing or upgrading components • Troubleshoot problems to isolate faulty components • Conduct complex functional tests by operating equipment and using appropriate test equipment • Performs a variety of inspections as required by equipment maintenance documents • Documents maintenance and inspection actions as required • Trains and resolves problems for less experienced technicians • Works under general direction   Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):   • This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required • Experience in fault diagnosis, repair, and/or calibration of electronic equipment • Experience in fault diagnosis, repair and calibration of complex automatic test stations • Experience performing soldering and electronics repair to the component level • Experience managing test assets and/or calibrated equipment • Ability to read and interpret system prints and schematics • Experience troubleshooting fault isolate complex electronics systems • Experience in Electronics Packaging, Sensor Integration and Block Diagrams and Schematics Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):  • Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).
