Job Description We are seeking an experienced Virtual Auto Supplement Estimator to support material damage claims through accurate estimate writing, supplement creation, and repair negotiations. This role is fully remote and requires a highly skilled estimator who can independently evaluate damages, write and revise estimates, negotiate repair costs, and assist with total loss and repairability decisions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience preparing estimates, writing supplements, and negotiating directly with repair facilities, rather than solely reviewing estimates prepared by others. This role will be primarily supporting claims in the Western region. The ideal candidate will preferably reside in Pacific, Mountain, or Central time zone. Key Responsibilities: • Create, review, and finalize comprehensive auto damage estimates for first- and third-party claims. • Independently prepare and write supplements based on repair findings and additional damage discovery. • Compile accurate repair estimates using industry-standard estimating platforms, primarily CCC ONE. • Negotiate repair costs and supplements directly with body shops and repair facilities. • Assess repairability, damage consistency, and estimate accuracy. • Support repair-versus-total-loss evaluations through estimate and valuation analysis. • Ensure estimates align with company guidelines, policy coverage, and applicable claims handling practices. • Maintain clear documentation of estimate decisions, negotiations, and claim activities. • Partner with claims professionals, repair facilities, and customers to facilitate timely claim resolution. • Manage workload independently within a fully remote environment while meeting productivity and quality expectations. Preferred Qualifications • Auto damage estimating experience. • Direct body shop negotiation experience. • Experience writing and managing supplements. • Experience compiling and creating estimates from the ground up, not solely auditing or reviewing estimates. • Strong working knowledge of vehicle repair processes, repair procedures, and damage analysis. • Previous experience using CCC ONE estimating software. • Strong written and verbal negotiation skills. • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment. • Advanced-level estimator experience comparable to an Estimator III environment. • Prior experience handling higher-complexity supplement and repair negotiations. • Total loss and valuation exposure. • Prior insurance carrier or collision repair estimating experience. #LI-JH1 Skills Auto Body Shop Management, Automotive Repair, Business Acumen, Business Management, CCC ONE, Critical Thinking, Damage Analysis, Documentations, Financial Analysis, Material Damage Claims, Negotiation, Quality Management, Repair Estimating Compensation Compensation offered for this role is 28.03 - 42.99 per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.
