This position can be located in either Redondo Beach, CA or Aurora, CO. *Please be aware that this position is contingent upon capturing program award(s) and obtaining and maintaining associated business and/or customer funding. Furthermore, this position is contingent upon the candidate obtaining final clearances and program access(es) within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company. Continued employment thereafter will be subject to maintenance at the level of clearance and program access required for the position in the future. In this role, you will develop and sustain several mission operational SW product lines, as well as develop new capabilities. You will join a large team comprising of multiple subsystems, each with a specialized software focus. We are looking for an energetic and passionate software engineer to join our team as we work to provide innovative solutions to complex issues in support of our national security mission. Basic Qualifications Software Engineer - Level 3: • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience; Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience; PhD with 1 year of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree • Must have an active SCI at time of application or an active TS clearance at time of application with the ability to obtain SCI within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company prior to start date • Object-Oriented programming skills • Experience in one or more server-side languages, including C++, Python, Node.js, Go, or Java • Experience developing scalable backend solutions • Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, GraphQL APIs, or gRPC services • Proficient in Agile principles, and the effective use of Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket Basic Qualifications Software Engineer - Level 4: • Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience; Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience; PhD with 4 years of relevant experience ; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree • Must have an active SCI at time of application or an active TS clearance at time of application with the ability to obtain SCI within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company prior to start date • Object-Oriented programming skills • Experience in one or more server-side languages, including C++, Python, Node.js, Go, or Java • Experience developing scalable backend solutions • Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, GraphQL APIs, or gRPC services • Proficient in Agile principles, and the effective use of Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket Preferred Qualification
