Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history. Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector is seeking a Manager Engineering Technical Support – Level 1 to join our team in Redondo Beach, CA. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work. Leads a hands-on manufacturing team responsible for antenna development, integration, build, and test from prototype through production. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: • Uses performance data such as yield, first pass yield, cycle time, and defect trends to improve processes and standardize work. • Provides staffing, work assignment, coaching, and performance management for technicians while fostering a safe, high-performance team environment. • Oversees daily technical support for antenna hardware and electronics, including radome, wing, and antenna assy with accompanying machine shop support. • Partners with RF and antenna design, Antenna and Electronics assy (M2N) test, quality, and supply chain teams to execute on both flight and IRAD hardware. • Other duties as assigned Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 3 years of professional experience. Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree. • No clearance required to start • 3+ years of experience supporting RF or antenna hardware or antenna electronics in development or production environments • Support hands-on onsite work in lab and manufacturing settings Preferred Qualifications: • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field • 5–8 years of relevant experience in antenna development, antenna electronics, or RF hardware support • Experience with phased-array antennas, beamforming ICs, control buses, and embedded firmware interfaces • Active clearance, or ability to obtain one, if required for the role As a leader with integrity, you ensure ethical conduct, balanced results, and partner satisfaction.
