This role can be filled at either Level 3 Principal Systems Engineer or Level 4 Sr. Principal Systems Engineer. *Please be aware that this position is contingent upon obtaining and maintaining associated business and/or customer funding. Additionally, this position is contingent upon the candidate obtaining final clearances and program access(es) within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company. Continued employment thereafter will be subject to maintenance of the level of clearance and program access required for the position in the future.* Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: -Work scope covers a range of Systems Engineering disciplines and products including requirements & verification, interfaces, architecture, CAMEO, Model Based Systems Engineering, DOORS administration, and design -Support development of verification planning/products, test requirements, and other key products -Assist preparation and execution of milestones -Role entails collaboration with Space Vehicle Systems Engineering as well as engagement with multiple working groups, key stakeholders, and control boards -Specifics of responsibilities can be tailored based on the skillset and specific experience of the selected candidate Basic Qualifications for Principal Systems Engineer – Level 3: -Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline with 5+ years of engineering experience OR -Master's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline with 3+ years of engineering experience OR -PhD in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline with 1+ year(s) of engineering experience -Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and have active SCI access at time of application with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the last 5 years and prior to start date OR -Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and have an active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance (or equivalent) at time of application with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the last 5 years and prior to start date as well as the ability to obtain and maintain active SCI access within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company.
