We're hiring a Finance & Strategy Analyst to join the Product Finance FP&A team and own the financial story behind some of Coinbase's most dynamic revenue lines, including Consumer Trading, Developer, and Stablecoin products. This team provides forecasting, variance analysis, and strategic insights across all revenue and expense lines for the product groups, partnering cross-functionally with Business Operations, Data, Accounting, Treasury, Investor Relations, and HR. You'll build the models and deliver the analysis that help leadership understand what's driving performance, where the risks and opportunities are, and where to focus next. What you'll do: • Own Consumer Trading revenue forecasting and variance analysis, reconciling actuals against forecast on a monthly cadence • Manage end-to-end financial deliverables for Developer and Stablecoin products, covering both revenue forecasting and OpEx budget tracking • Build and maintain the driver-based financial models that power analysis across Trading, Developer, and Stablecoin revenue and expense lines • Investigate financial and operational data proactively to surface trends, anomalies, and opportunities before they're asked for • Lead the month-end close process for your coverage areas, conducting detailed variance analysis and partnering with Accounting to ensure data integrity • Present financial analysis during business reviews, translating complex data into clear recommendations for cross-functional stakeholders Required Skills and Experience: • 2-4 years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or a related analytical role, with demonstrated ability to build driver-based revenue and expense models independently • Technical proficiency in advanced Excel and SQL for data analysis, with exposure to planning tools such as Anaplan, NetSuite, or Adaptive Insights • Experience partnering with non-finance stakeholders (e.g., Product, Engineering, Operations) to validate assumptions, gather inputs, and present financial analysis • Track record of independently identifying financial trends or risks and escalating insights to leadership without being prompted • Proven accuracy in financial close processes, variance analysis, or reconciliation workflows • Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
