We were backed by Goldman Sachs, Tencent and GBL along the way. Our portfolio includes games such as Mob Control and Block Jam, studios such as BeachBum, and apps including BeReal and Wizz. This role is full time, on a permanent contract, based in our Paris office. Team Cortex is a small studio inside Voodoo building puzzle games designed as the opposite of brain rot: hard puzzles, effortless interfaces, games that leave players feeling good and a little proud of themselves. Our first product, The Almanac , has already reached around $1M in annual recurring revenue. Our goal: three Cortex puzzle games in the top global charts by the end of 2027. You would be our first marketing hire, working side by side with the studio director every day. Role As Marketing Artist, you will own the creative marketing of Cortex's games, from paid user acquisition to organic social media. You will work directly with the studio director and alongside Voodoo's Growth teams. This is a founding role, with direct ownership and a major influence on how our games reach their players. • Create mobile video ads for our games and iterate on what performs • Build and run the social media presence of our games • Become a creative expert in mobile puzzle games: benchmark our competitors and experiment with new ideas • Develop a deep understanding of how your creations perform and why • Work closely with product on the games we choose and build • Contribute to transversal initiatives (e.g., testing new AI tools) Profile • 1 to 3 years of experience creating content that performs • Proven experience growing an audience on social media, with the analytics to show it • Fully proficient with video editing, motion design and content creation • Hands-on experience with AI creative tools (Scenario, Seedance, Kling, Veo, Runway, etc.) • Strong visual taste • Creative, with a hacker mindset • Understand how your creations drive marketing performance • Familiar with the mobile gaming market, ideally puzzle games • Fluent in English, both oral and written.
