About the Role This role will support one or more direct or indirect contracts with the U.S. Federal Government which, due to federal government security requirements, mandates that all Workday personnel working on the contracts be United States citizens (naturalized or native). Workday is seeking a Senior Sourcing Manager on the Technology Sourcing Team in the Financial Services and Spend Management Organization. This person will assist with the execution of Technology strategies, with a focus on Software engagements and related projects. Generally, the Senior Sourcing Manager will understand business/company requirements and apply Strategic Sourcing practices to support the business. Responsibilities include performing spend and market analysis, conducting Requests for Proposals, negotiating contracts, and fostering business and supplier relationships. The Senior Sourcing Manager will also identify strategic improvement opportunities (e.g. introducing new technologies, cost optimization, contract consolidation) and be a key driver in process-improvement initiatives. Finally, the Senior Sourcing Manager should also be able to assist with auxiliary Sourcing requests in related technology categories such as hardware, and
