About the role
Job Details: Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Maintenance Technician to support our state-of-the-art system-based testing platforms. In this role, you will be the backbone of our CPU validation labs, ensuring that complex test benches, validation motherboards, and custom emulation platforms operate at peak performance, minimizing downtime during critical silicon bring-up and verification cycles. Key Responsibilities • System Maintenance and Upkeep: Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on complex CPU validation platforms, test benches, and custom fixtures. • Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose hardware failures down to the component level on custom test boards, power delivery networks, and interface cards using lab equipment like oscilloscopes, DMMs, and logic analyzers. • Lab Support and Setup: Assemble, configure, and deploy new system-based testing platforms and test environments in collaboration with validation and design engineering teams. • Inventory and Spare Parts Management: Monitor lab inventory, manage critical spare parts (sockets, cables, power supplies), and coordinate with vendors for replacements. • Safety and Compliance: Ensure all lab operations and testing platforms adhere strictly to internal safety protocols and industry standards. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications - Currently enrolled in a technical degree B.Sc. program (e.g., Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electronics/ Electrical) at an accredited academic institution. - Strong logical problem-solving and analytical capabilities. - Proficiency in English communication, including reading, writing, and speaking. - Demonstrated skills in attention to detail, teamwork, and self-directed learning. - Availability to work a minimum of 4 days per week, with at least 2 years remaining until graduation. Preferred Qualifications - Prior hands-on technical experience in a relevant field such as electronics, software, or mechanical engineering. - Practical engineering background in troubleshooting and diagnostic processes. - Leadership capabilities, including the ability to coordinate and collaborate effectively in team settings.
