About the Job: The Hemophilia Medical Manager will be responsible for driving the medical strategy and scientific engagement activities related to hemophilia and rare blood disorders in Egypt. This role ensures the generation, communication, and application of scientific and clinical data to support patient care, in full alignment with Sanofi's mission to chase the miracles of science and improve the lives of people living with rare blood disorders. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Develop and execute the local medical affairs plan for hemophilia in line with regional and global strategy • Build and maintain strong scientific relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), hematologists, treaters, and relevant medical/scientific societies in Egypt • Provide medical and scientific expertise to internal cross-functional teams (Market Access, Marketing, Regulatory, Patient Support) and external stakeholders • Support the design, implementation, and monitoring of clinical studies, real-world evidence generation, and investigator-sponsored studies as applicable • Ensure scientifically accurate and compliant medical education activities, advisory boards, symposia, and congress engagements • Respond to unsolicited medical information requests and ensure timely, accurate medical information dissemination • Contribute to the development of scientific communication materials (slide decks, publications, medical education content) in compliance with local regulations and Sanofi's Code of Ethics • Monitor the evolving hemophilia treatment landscape, competitive intelligence, and emerging scientific data • Support patient advocacy initiatives and collaborate with patient organizations where appropriate • Ensure full compliance with all applicable local regulations, Sanofi policies, pharmacovigilance requirements, and ethical standards • Manage and monitor the allocated medical budget for hemophilia activities in Egypt, ensuring optimal resource allocation, cost control, and full compliance with Sanofi's financial policies and approval processes • Track budget spend versus plan, forecast medical activity costs (congresses, advisory boards, studies, medical education), and report variances to the Rare Disease/Rare Blood Disorders Medical Head, Africa • Ensure all financial commitments related to medical activities follow Sanofi's procurement, compliance, and Code of Ethics requirements About You: Education Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, Medicine. Medical Degree or equivalent medical degree preferred, PhD or PharmD Professional Experience • Medical degree (MD), DDS, BSC pharm or PharmD; a specialization or strong clinical background in hematology is highly valued. Postgraduate Studies in relevant Area is a plus. • 5 years Industry experience (Medical affairs) and/or clinical experience, ideally with relevant TA experience • Prior experience in hemophilia or rare blood disorders is highly preferred • Strong understanding of the Egyptia
