A Day in the Life Results-driven Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake, Databricks, Python development, and modern data engineering practices. Skilled in designing scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, workflow orchestration, data transformation, and cloud-based analytics solutions. Strong experience in advance snowflake features. Experienced in working with intelligent agents, automation frameworks, and data-driven architectures to support enterprise analytics and AI initiatives. Strong knowledge of SQL, distributed data processing, and performance optimization with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and efficient data solutions. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. • Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and enterprise data workflows. • Build and optimize data solutions using Databricks and Snowflake. • Extensive experience in snowflake. • Develop Python-based automation, integration, and data processing solutions. • Work with structured and semi-structured data from multiple enterprise systems and APIs. • Implement workflow orchestration, scheduling, dependency management, and monitoring solutions. • Support real-time and batch data processing use cases. • Collaborate with analytics, AI/ML, and reporting teams to enable data-driven decision-making. • Ensure data quality, governance, security, and performance optimization across platforms. • Troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability and scalability. • Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Contribute to innovation initiatives involving AI agents, intelligent automation, and modern data platforms. Required Knowledge and Experience: • 3+ years of IT experience with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, MCA, or MSc. • ETL Tools: Informatica PowerCenter. • 4+ years experience in snowflake and IICS. • Strong experience in advance snowflake features. • Databases: Oracle (strong SQL), basic understanding of Delta Lake (Databricks) • Cloud/Data Platforms: Databricks (preferred or willingness to learn) • Scheduling Tools: Tivoli Job Scheduler, Airflow • Scripting: Basic Unix shell scripting • Prior experience migrating ETL from legacy systems to cloud-based platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, etc.) • Understanding of data warehouse design patterns. • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology. • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
