As an NVIDIAN, you’ll be immersed in a diverse, supportive environment where everyone is inspired to do their best work. Come join the team and see how you can make a lasting impact on the world. Are you ready to make a significant impact at NVIDIA? We are seeking a Senior Treasury Accountant, Automation and Operations, who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about bringing to bear AI to transform our Accounting processes. Located in Santa Clara, this role offers an outstanding chance to create automation that scales our Treasury close processes efficiently. If you are ambitious, meticulous, and passionate about modern technology, this is the role for you! What you’ll be doing: • Build and deliver automation across the Treasury Accounting close — including reconciliations, journal entry preparation, flux analysis, and disclosure support — using large language model agents, Python, and SQL on a modern data and orchestration platform with you as the human in the loop for review and sign-off. • Translate accounting requirements into working solutions alongside Treasury and IT: document business requirements, map data from source systems into SAP and the data lake, build test plans, and provide cutover support and hypercare. • You will own month-end and quarter-end close tasks for Treasury Accounting. Collaborate with independent third-party service providers to report on marketable investments (ASC 320 and ASC 321), derivatives and hedge accounting (ASC 815), and debt issuances (ASC 470). • Assist with Investment Company Act of 1940 analysis and continuous compliance monitoring by managing quantitative tests, documentation. • Collaborate with Treasury in real time, providing accounting expertise on new investments, structures, and programs to ensure accounting treatment, controls, and processes are established before launch. • Strengthen SOX controls over Treasury Accounting processes, and build and detail newly automated workflows to ensure they are auditable, version-controlled, and evidence-ready from day one. What we need to see: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience spanning public accounting and/or a large multinational public company. • Working command of US GAAP for Treasury activities - ASC 320, 321, 470, 815, and 830. • Proven record of automating finance or accounting processes and implementing AI tools in a SOX-compliant environment. • A proactive approach and strong program management skills, in addition to defining and standardizing global processes. • Clear communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, backed by strong partner management experience. • Comfort with ambiguity, a bias toward challenging the status quo, and a track record of delivering in a fast-paced environment. Ways to stand out from the crowd: • Active CPA, or a Big 4 background in treasury, financial services, or technical accounting. • Hands-on experience with agentic coding tools such as Claude Code or OpenAI Codex, including building and version-controlling reusable workflows that other finance users adopt. • Familiarity with SAP ECC and S/4HANA, Databricks, and third-party investment or hedge accounting platforms
