Join us for a career that changes lives. The position is based in São Paulo/SP/Brazil and will operate on a flexible work model with presence in the office. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. • Lead indirect tax compliance activities, ensuring accurate calculation, reporting, and payment of taxes, including PIS, COFINS, IPI, ICMS, ICMS-ST, ISS, CBS, IBS, withholding taxes, and other applicable obligations. • Oversee the preparation, review, and submission of statutory and ancillary tax filings, including EFD ICMS/IPI, EFD Contributions, EFD-Reinf, DCTF, and other regulatory requirements. • Ensure the accuracy and compliance of tax master data for products and suppliers, including classification and tax parameters such as NCM, CST, CFOP, and related tax attributes. • Partner with cross-functional teams and business units to ensure the correct application of tax legislation across business operations and transactions. • Monitor and assess changes in tax laws and regulations, driving timely implementation of requirements and minimizing compliance risk. • Lead interactions with tax authorities, including audits, inspections, assessments, and administrative proceedings. • Identify opportunities to optimize tax processes, recover tax credits, improve controls, and mitigate fiscal risks. • Manage and maintain tax configurations and system parameterization to support compliance and operational efficiency. • Develop, coach, and lead a high-performing tax team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning. • Drive the tax-related workstream associated with Brazil's Tax Reform, ensuring effective planning, implementation, and change management across the organization. Required Knowledge and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree • Fluent English • Strong experience in Brazilian indirect tax compliance and tax legislation. • Knowledge of ERP tax configuration and tax process optimization within SAP (ECC and S4Hanna) and Tax One. • 5 years of proven people leadership and team development experience. • Ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate effectively across multiple business functions. • Experience supporting tax transformation initiatives and regulatory change projects, including Brazil's Tax Reform implementation.
