About the role
This is a full-time onsite role based in the location(s) posted and is performed from the designated work location five days per week. No relocation is offered. The lead digital experience designer is responsible for conceptualizing and designing visual marketing solutions from concept to finish. They lead design decision-making to uphold a consistent look and feel on att.com. The role requires a solid understanding of content design, user experience, and mobile-first design as well as a passion for staying current with the latest AI tools and design trends. This is not a print role. Primary responsibilities • Concept and design marketing campaigns across AT&T digital platforms. • Design modular web pages that communicate marketing hierarchy and support the customer journey while telling the story of complex products and offers. • Produce strong creative following established AT&T brand guidelines and ensure every design reinforces and elevates the brand through consistent visuals. • Composite and retouch multiple images into a single new environment. • Partner with producers, strategists, AT&T marketers, design and copy leads, and copywriters to ensure creative supports both client and business needs. • Ensure comps translate into great online experiences by working closely with the content implementation team and performing visual QA. • Advocate for growth in design by contributing to the evolution of AT&T design systems and best practices. • Create, organize, and manage the device and accessory catalog images and oversee fellow designers’ work. • Mentor and guide digital designers and support the associate creative director as needed. Core requirements & competencies • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in design, art, communications, or marketing. • Five+ years of ad agency or in-house agency digital experience. • Strong digital portfolio including web pages, UI, beautifully crafted graphic design, image compositing, and type layout. • Expert knowledge of Figma and Photoshop, including Firefly. • Skilled retoucher who can also leverage AI tools for image alteration. • Comfortable using Chrome DevTools, specifically Inspect mode. • Robust typography skills and a strong understanding of composition, light, and color. • Ability to build wireframes. • Well-versed in accessibility standards. • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Claude, and GPT. • Familiar with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and Chrome developer tool . • Familiar with technical limitations and emerging technologies. • Thrives in a lively, fast-paced environment and able to juggle multiple projects with competing deadlines. • Highly organized with precise attention to detail. • Strong communication skills to effectively present concepts and solutions. • Experience with Workfront or similar project management system. • Familiarity with After Effects, 3D, video, or prototyping a plus.
