Purpose  Reporting to the Director, Strategy, Analytics & Business Insights (SABI), the Associate Director, Business Insights serves as the primary analytical and strategic partner to the Oncology/SMAO Clinical Study Leadership organization, with an additional support role for Neuroscience/SSU. This role owns portfolio-level business insights for Oncology/SMAO — translating complex, ambiguous business questions into data-driven analyses that directly inform Sr. Director and VP-level decisions across site strategy, study design, resourcing, and risk management — while extending analytical support to Neuroscience/SSU stakeholders as capacity and priorities allow. The Associate Director builds and sustains trusted relationships with Sr. Directors (TA Heads) and their leadership teams across both therapeutic areas, ensuring SABI’s analytical capabilities are embedded into how each portfolio plans and executes.  Responsibilities  • Strategic Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary SABI point of contact and trusted advisor to Oncology/SMAO Sr. Directors and CSL leadership, proactively identifying where data and analytics can resolve ambiguity in portfolio-level decisions.  • End-to-End Insight Delivery: Lead delivery of portfolio-level insights — from hypothesis generation and data identification through analysis, insight generation, and recommendations — following SABI’s hypothesis-driven problem-solving approach.  • Analytical Product Ownership: Own and evolve key analytical products for Oncology/SMAO (e.g., site ID and allocation models, country/site performance benchmarking, enrollment scenario planning, operational flagging views), ensuring they remain decision-relevant as portfolio priorities shift.  • Cross-TA Support — Neuroscience/SSU: Provide analytical and decision-support coverage to Neuroscience/SSU stakeholders, extending proven Oncology approaches where transferable and adapting them to Neuroscience/SSU-specific needs.  • Business Need Translation: Partner with Sr. Directors and CSL leadership across Oncology/SMAO and Neuroscience/SSU to translate emerging business needs into scoped, actionable analytical workstreams.  • Executive Communication: Influence Sr. Directors/VP-level decisions, tailoring communication to executive audiences.  • Risk & Gap Identification: Identify and escalate structural gaps or unaddressed risks within the Oncology/SMAO and Neuroscience/SSU portfolios that are not yet visible to leadership, bringing an independent analytical lens to surface them.  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with SABI’s other TA-aligned leads and adjacent CAP functions (Study Feasibility & Analytics, Clinical Acceleration Solutions) to ensure consistency and reuse of analytical approaches across therapeutic areas.  • CDO-Wide Initiatives: Provide analytical and strategic support for priority CDO-wide initiatives, partnering across functions and applying SABI capabilities beyond assigned therapeutic areas to advance enterprise objectives.  • Team Capability Development: Provide project-based coaching and mentorship to junior team members and rotational analysts supporting Oncology/SMAO and Neuroscience/SSU work, while maintaining accountability for the quality and analytical rigor of assigned outputs.  • Portfolio Stewardship: Maintain a portfolio-first, objective, and long-term view of stakeholder needs across both therapeutic areas, balancing responsiveness to Sr. Director requests with SABI’s focus on high-impact, analytically complex work.  Required:  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Finance, Analytics, Business, or related quantitative field preferred  • 10+ years of relevant experience in business analytics, strategy, or a related client-facing analytical r
