About the role

The primary purpose of this role is to drive organization readiness and value realization by making strategic and hands-on contributions to the Integration Management Office (IMO) during mergers, acquisitions, integrations, carve-outs, and separation initiatives. The role is focused on ensuring seamless business continuity, accelerating integration outcomes, and enabling the successful transition to the target operating model.   Organization Readiness for Post-Deal Integration: • Translate the deal of vision, strategic objectives, and value creation goals into a structured organization readiness roadmap. • Partner with business leaders and the Integration Management Office to define integration principles, decision frameworks, and governance mechanisms that guide execution. • Design and validate the target operating model, organizational structure, governance framework, and leadership alignment for the combined entity. • Assess organizational readiness requirements across Day 1, Day 100, and future state milestones, ensuring effective transition planning and risk mitigation. • Develop and execute comprehensive Day 1 and Day 100 readiness plans, checklists, milestones, and workplans to support successful integration outcomes. • Contribute to the Integration Management Office by driving end-to-end program governance, stakeholder alignment, issue resolution, dependency management, and workstream execution. Integration Support for Post-Deal Activities: • Support the planning, mobilization, and execution of Program, Integration, and Transformation Management Office activities. • Lead readiness assessments and execution planning for critical Day 1 and Day 100 milestones. • Enable cross-functional coordination to ensure timely delivery of integration objectives and realization of deal synergies.   Carve-Out and Separation Management: • Develop separation strategies and assess organizational readiness to support successful carve-out and divestiture transactions. • Evaluate interim and future-state operating models, organizational structures, governance requirements, and transition approaches. • Establish Day 1 and Day 100 separation plans, readiness checklists, and execution roadmaps. • Support the Separation Management Office (SMO) in coordinating workstreams, managing interdependencies, and driving execution excellence. • Assess Transitional Service Agreement (TSA) requirements, develop TSA schedules, and define TSA exit strategies to enable a smooth and sustainable separation.   Diligence and Transformation: • Support strategic and operational due diligence efforts to evaluate the commercial viability, value creation potential, and execution feasibility of complex transactions. • Drive the identification and realization of post-deal consolidation, integration, separation, and transformation opportunities to accelerate business outcomes. • Leverage industry-leading practices, proven methodologies, to design robust integration and separation strategies tailored to transaction objectives • Develop and execute comprehensive functional integration plans across R&D, GSC, Commercial, Finance, IT, HR, and other core business functions, ensuring readiness for Day 1, Day 100, and long-term target-state operations. • Partner with stakeholders to support the successful delivery of transformation initiatives, maximize synergy realization, and enable sustainable business performance. Experience and Skills • 15+ years of experience in M&A transactions, including due diligence, integration, carve-out, separation, and post-deal value realization. • Proven expertise in integration and separation planning across one or more functions, such as Finance, IT, HR, R&D, or Supply Chain. • Hands-on experience with global acquisitions across the US and EMEA,
