About the role
About the Program The Junior Managers Program (JMP) – MFG is a 24-month accelerated leadership development program designed to develop high-potential talent for future leadership opportunities within Bosch manufacturing. Through a series of 3-4 tailored rotational assignments, participants will gain broad exposure to manufacturing operations and key cross-functional areas while developing the leadership, technical, and business capabilities necessary for long-term success within Bosch. The program combines challenging rotational assignments, mandatory international experience, executive mentorship, formal and informal learning, structured networking, and exposure to senior leadership. Participants will be expected to demonstrate high performance, geographic flexibility, continuous improvement mindset, and readiness for progressively greater leadership responsibility. Key Responsibilities: • Complete 3–4 tailored developmental rotations over the 24-month program, generally ranging from 4–8 months per assignment. • Complete a mandatory international rotation as part of the JMP development experience. • Gain hands-on experience within MFG, including exposure to production leadership, manufacturing processes, operational performance, and continuous improvement. • Lead and support projects focused on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Productivity, and People. • Analyze manufacturing performance and KPIs, identify gaps and opportunities, and develop sustainable countermeasures. • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and promote a strong CIP mindset throughout rotational assignments. • Partner cross-functionally with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Logistics, Supply Chain, HR, and other business functions. • Establish and execute SMART goals and meaningful business projects during each rotation. • Develop leadership capability through coaching, mentoring, networking, and exposure to senior and executive leaders. • Work with an assigned executive mentor (SL2 or above) throughout the development program. • Build relationships and networks across Bosch locations, functions, and business areas. • Participate in formal and informal learning opportunities, networking events, and community/social activities. • Demonstrate strong performance, adaptability, learning agility, and readiness for increasing levels of responsibility. • Present project outcomes, business recommendations, and development progress to MFG and senior leadership. • Work with program leadership, HR, rotational managers, and mentors to prepare for a post-program leadership assignment within the sponsoring organization. Required Qualifications: • Master’s degree required in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field • Minimum of two internship/co-op semesters OR two years of professional experience • No more than five years of post-graduate professional experience • Demonstrated interest in developing a long-term career in MFG leadership • Strong leadership potential with demonstrated ability to influence, collaborate, and take ownership • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making capabilities • Ability to operate effectively within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. • Willingness and ability to relocate and complete assignments domestically and internationally. Preferred Qualifications: • Previous experience within manufacturing, automotive, engineering, operations, supply chain, or a related environment. • Demonstrated leadership experience through professional work, internships/co-ops, academic activities, military service, or community involvement. • Experience leading projects, continuous improvement initiatives, or cross-funct
