Job Details: Job Description: About the Role Join the Project Analysis (PA) team within Intel's Central Engineering Group (CEG) as a Project Analyst Student. In this role, you will be embedded at the intersection of engineering management, project intelligence, and data analytics, supporting critical hardware and software programs that power Intel's high-speed Ethernet technology. As a Project Analyst Student, you will not just maintain schedules; you will leverage modern project management frameworks, business intelligence dashboards, and cutting-edge AI-driven productivity tools to provide predictive insights, streamline workflows, and enable engineering leaders to make informed, data-driven decisions. Key Responsibilities • Schedule and Milestone Management: Partner with Program Managers and multi-geo engineering teams to build, baseline, and maintain comprehensive project schedules across the complete product development lifecycle. • Critical Path and Trend Analysis: Conduct critical path analyses, bottleneck identification, and milestone trend forecasting to assess project health and timeline predictability. • Data Visualization and Metrics: Develop, automate, and maintain interactive dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) using tools such as Power BI and Excel to track program execution. • AI and Workflow Automation: Utilize AI productivity tools (such as LLM-based assistants, automated summarization, and prompt-driven data transformation) to synthesize meeting actions, extract risk signals, and automate routine administrative or reporting workflows. • Risk Management and Mitigation: Facilitate regular program risk and issue reviews, tracking mitigation actions and highlighting critical dependencies to engineering leadership. • Cross-Functional Communication: Prepare and present concise, data-backed operational reports and schedule updates to technical stakeholders and engineering managers across multiple time zones. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: • Active student currently enrolled in a Bachelor's (B.Sc. / B.A.) or Master's (M.Sc. / M.A.) degree in Industrial Engineering, Information Systems Management, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field. • Minimum of 2 years remaining until graduation. • Ability to work at least 3 full business days per week (with schedule flexibility during academic exam periods). • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including complex formulas, pivot tables, data modeling, and Power Query). • AI Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with modern AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or Gemini) for workflow optimization, data extraction, and structured problem solving. • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate technical data clearly. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with data analysis and query languages (such as SQL, basic Python, or R). • Hands-on experience developing reports and visual models in Power BI or similar BI platforms. • Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and scheduling tools (such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Azure DevOps). • Applied interest or project experience in leveraging Generative AI or automation scripting to optimize repetitive analytical processes.
