A Day in the Life Medtronic’s Soft Tissue Implants (STI) business provides implantable solutions used to repair, reinforce, and support soft tissue during surgery. The portfolio includes products for hernia repair, abdominal wall reconstruction, wound closure, and other soft tissue reinforcement applications. The business partners closely with surgeons, hospitals, and operating room teams by delivering clinically supported technologies that help improve procedural outcomes and patient care. This field-based sales role supports the STI portfolio across Lucknow and the surrounding territory. The position is primarily customer-facing, requiring regular engagement with hospitals, surgical teams, and healthcare stakeholders. The role requires travel of up to 30% within the assigned territory to support account development, clinical case coverage, customer training, and business growth initiatives. The Sales Representative I, Soft Tissue Implants, is responsible for driving portfolio adoption and achieving sales objectives within the assigned territory. This role partners with surgeons, operating room staff, hospital administration, and procurement stakeholders to expand product utilization, provide clinical support, and develop long-term customer relationships across assigned accounts. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. • Achieve territory sales targets and revenue objectives for the Soft Tissue Implants portfolio. • Drive growth of Hernia Solutions and Suture products across hospitals, referral centers, and healthcare institutions. • Provide surgical case coverage, product demonstrations, and clinical support during procedures. • Conduct product training, therapy education, and account onboarding for new and existing customers. • Develop and execute territory plans to increase account penetration, product utilization, and market share. • Build relationships with surgeons, nurses, hospital administrators, and purchasing stakeholders to support business growth. • Gather competitive intelligence, customer insights, and market information to support territory strategies. • Maintain compliance with company policies, quality standards, reporting requirements, and customer engagement guidelines. Required Qualifications • High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 4+ years’ experience OR Associate’s Degree AND 2+ years’ experience OR Bachelor’s Degree Experience managing hospital-based sales and customer relationships within assigned territories. • Experience supporting clinical procedures, product evaluations, or healthcare professional training programs. • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and growing business within healthcare accounts. • Ability to travel up to 30% within the assigned territory. Preferred Qualifications • Experience selling hernia repair products, sutures, implantable medical devices, or soft tissue repair solutions. • Experience providing operating room support and assisting surgeons during procedures. • Knowledge of hospital procurement processes, committee approvals, and healthcare purchasing pathways. • Experience conducting clinical education programs, product demonstrations, and in-service training. • Experience converting competitive accounts and expanding product adoption across
