Northrop Grumman Mission Systems has an opening for a Principal Supply Chain Program Planner / Senior Principal Supply Chain Program Planner to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals within our Global Supply Chain organization. This role is located onsite (full time) in Baltimore, MD.  The successful applicant will become a part of Advanced Mission Capabilities Business Unit within the Mission Systems Sector supporting the Electromagnetic Maneuver Warfare (EMW) Operating Unit. This role functions as a critical material supplier lead with responsibilities ranging from material budgets to supplier management. You will be expected to manage supply chain activities from development to production while also tracking and forecasting material and collaborating with Supplier Quality. As a Supply Chain Planner you are in charge of working with cross-functional teams to ensure suppliers execute in alignment with program schedule, engineering requirements and material budget.     Roles and Responsibilities:   Manage on time requisition release, PO placements, and PO delivery dates to maintain program schedule for your responsible commodities.   Partner with Planners to manage/report and forecast material cost/performance of assigned commodities for all programs to support Program PLATO/CEAC/EAC activities   Identify and manage program risks and opportunities as they pertain to material requirements.   Responsible for the assessment of supply resources; aggregates and prioritizes demand requirements; plans inventory, distribution requirements, production, material and rough-cut capacity for all products   Monitor and address supplier capacity and/or production issues to ensure proper scheduling of new product line phase-ins as well as existing product line phase-outs   Maintain strong business acumen and ability to operate in a fast-paced production environment that consists of leading-edge technology suppliers.   Support development of supply chain strategy – including supplier development and supplier risk management, which will include development of secondary sources.   Liaison for assigned program(s) and supply chain management function including buyers, planners, subcontract administrators, scheduling, customers and suppliers, etc.   Represent the OU in Program Reviews and leadership briefings (internal/external).   #MPR #GSCCMP   Basic Qualifications:   Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management ; or a master's degree with at least 6 years of experience Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management   Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance   Must be a U.S. Citizen   Preferred Qualifications:   Professional experience in a regulated industry to include Aerospace & Defense or Financial Services,   SAP experi
