Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for an Electronic Technician 3 to join the team of qualified individuals on our Test and Evaluation organization. This role is located onsite in Tinker AFB and Oklahoma City, OK . In this role, the successful candidate will work within a technical team responsible for the building, integration, test and maintenance of hardware in laboratory settings ranging in complexity from single rack of equipment to 10+ racks and will provide technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks. The candidate should be a self-starter with familiarity working in an Integrated Product Team construct. Key Responsibilities: • Build systems using engineering drawings, configuration & recovery documentation, • Support startup & shutdown procedures, ATP/Delivery, as well as post-delivery support. • Support the build and installation of custom cables and wire harness assemblies as well as tray assemblies from engineering drawings and interconnect diagrams. • Produce engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics) • Maintaining the Lab space including 5’s and tool control. • Supporting development engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, fabrication, modification, and assembly of electronic systems. • Conducting routine testing, troubleshooting, prototype building, and developmental engineering tasks. • Performing operational tests to ensure conformance with design specifications. • Diagnosing and isolating malfunctions down to the component level. • Conducting engineering tests and collecting data. • Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks. Basic Qualifications: • Must have a High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience. • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret clearance and Special Access Program (SAP) within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs • Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (MS, Word, Excel, Outlook) • Must have the ability to interpret engineering drawings in accordance with ASME and IEEE standards, including rack assembly drawings, interconnect wiring diagrams and custom cable assemblies. • Must have ability to frequently move and position objects weighing 50lbs and work with hazardous-materials, in accordance with safety regulations. • Must pass a vision exam that tests for color blindness to confirm the ability to visually differentiate cables and wires
