About the role
People Partner We are looking for a People Partner to build the foundations of our People Operations function. You will stay close to the people doing the work, build trusted relationships across technical and operational teams, and turn a strong understanding of the business into practical people support. You will help create a culture of excellence and fun, while building scalable, low-friction people practices that let employees focus on the work at hand rather than bureaucracy. About us We’re a Germany-based rocketry startup currently in stealth mode, scaling up rapidly to meet the demand for high-performance, reliable, and scalable solid propulsion technologies for space and defense applications. We are already launching suborbital and ballistic rockets on a regular basis, generating significant revenue and applying our knowledge toward the development of an orbital rocket. We are working hard to build something truly spectacular. To thrive here you will need to be comfortable working at pace, with the autonomy to make decisions and execute on them quickly. If you’re excited by hard technical challenges and want a role where you will make a real difference each day to the future of the company, we may be the place for you. Key responsibilities • Build and improve core People Operations, including the employee lifecycle, onboarding, offboarding, and straightforward people processes. • Stay close to the people doing the work, building trusted relationships across technical and operational teams and understanding their business context. • Partner with leaders to build an effective, engaged workforce and support sound people decisions that meet the needs of the business. • Strengthen talent development, performance, feedback, and manager practices as the organisation grows. • Work closely with Talent Acquisition to create a high-quality onboarding experience and a coherent, world class employee lifecycle that retains and develops our world class talent. • Build and improve scalable people processes that are simple to use, low-friction, and proportionate to the organisation’s needs. • Reduce unnecessary administration and bureaucracy so employees and leaders can focus on the work at hand. • Help foster a culture of high standards, collaboration, and enjoyment in the work. What we are looking for • Experience in a People Partner, HR Business Partner, or People Operations role, ideally in a growing, highly technical organisation. • The ability to build trusted relationships with leaders and employees across technical and operational teams. • A practical, business-minded approach to people support, grounded in an understanding of the work and its context. • The ability to build and execute, not just advise: you’re comfortable creating structure where it doesn’t yet exist. • The ability to help leaders make sound people decisions and strengthen talent development, performance, and feedback practices. • Proven ability to create scalable, straightforward processes that support the business without adding unnecessary administrative burden. • Clear judgement and the ability to work with autonomy and pace in a growing, technically demanding environment. • A collaborative approach to business operations, talent acquisition, onboarding, and the wider employee lifecycle. Desirable experience • German-speaking ability and experience with German employment law. • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams in a high-tech, high-safety, and industrialised environment, such as defence or space. Benefits and important information: • We offer top-decile compensation packages, bonuses and meaningful equity, to attract exceptional aerospace talent. • Every employee is awarded stock options in the company, you will directly
