Job Details: Job Description: The Role and Impact As a Substrate Supplier Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing Intel's supply chain, ensuring the procurement of critical materials and fostering strong partnerships with suppliers. You will be responsible for driving sourcing strategies that align with business needs, improving supplier performance, and ensuring continuity of supply. Your contributions will help optimize operations and support Intel's ability to deliver innovative solutions to customers efficiently. Business Group The Intel Foundry business group is dedicated to supporting Intel's global manufacturing and supply chain operations. This team drives critical areas such as supplier engagement, strategic planning, and operational excellence to ensure Intel's manufacturing capabilities run seamlessly. Working collaboratively across diverse functions, the group plays a key role in Intel's broader mission to deliver market-leading products and solutions. The Substrates Business Group (SBG) manages all commercial activity related to our substrate supply chain. Key Responsibilities • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to ensure supply chain sustainability and cost-efficiency. • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and mitigate risks. • Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to align procurement strategies with business objectives. • Drive supplier relationship management, fostering partnerships that support innovation and operational excellence. • Ensure compliance with Intel's policies, quality standards, and environmental regulations. • Monitor and manage supplier risks, ensuring continuity of supply during critical periods. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, or a related field. • 9+ years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain management. • Proficiency in supplier negotiation and contract management. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess market dynamics and supplier capabilities. • Knowledge of supply chain tools and systems, such as ERP platforms. Preferred Qualifications • Master's degree in a relevant field with 6+ years of experience or PhD with 4+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management. • Experience working in the semiconductor industry or managing technical commodities. • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and develop supplier partnerships. • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, fostering collaboration across diverse stakeholders. • Passion for driving innovation and continuous improvement in supply chain processes.
