Job Category Claim Compensation Overview The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards. Salary Range $39,200.00 - $64,700.00 Target Openings 5 What Is the Opportunity? As an Auto Salvage Coordinator, you will play a critical role in managing the end-to-end salvage process, ensuring timely and compliant disposal of total loss vehicles while maximizing asset recovery value. In this role, you will collaborate closely with salvage vendors, appraisers, and claim handlers to coordinate title work, manage vendor expenses, and uphold state titling laws and regulations. Your attention to detail and organizational expertise will directly contribute to accurate claim file management and outstanding customer outcomes. What Will You Do? • Prepare and process title documentation and required paperwork for timely submission to the appropriate salvage vendor. • Evaluate and determine the most appropriate disposal method for salvage assets in accordance with applicable state titling laws and regulations. Establish follow-up activities to ensure prompt and efficient sale of the asset. • Review and audit vendor invoices to ensure accurate and appropriate expense management. Proactively review invoices for billing discrepancies, and engage the salvage vendor, Appraiser or Claim Handler to assist in negotiation to achieve fair and reasonable outcomes. • Review credit and debit transactions posted to the claim file to ensure accuracy. • Verify proper execution of inbound titling documents, and appropriately process payments for customers. Resolve improperly executed title documents and proactively contact relevant parties to obtain missing or incomplete transferable ownership documentation, including keys, to successfully resolve the salvage. • Establish minimum bids utilizing the salvage vendor pricing system, entering accurate data to ensure reliable pricing results. Provide counter bids as appropriate and re-list vehicles in accordance with established office guidelines to maximize recovery value. • Review auto sale listings to verify accuracy of sale data including loss type, area of damage, vehicle year, make, model, and percentage of damages. Evaluate vehicle photos for image quality, OEM or aftermarket parts, missing equipment, inconsistencies with accident facts or auto appraisal, and odometer readings where applicable. • Perform sale price audits by monitoring internet auto auctions to validate sale prices against gross proceeds and ensure competitive asset returns. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date salvage capture screens throughout the claims process and document all claim file activity not captured within the system, ensuring current and precise data integrity at all times. • Manage left-with-owner (LWO) vehicle dispositions and resolve associated title issues in accordance with local office workflows and procedures. • Perform other duties as assigned.
