About the role
We are seeking an experienced Industry 4.0 Engineer to join our organization in Celaya Guanajuato, Mexico. This position is responsible for driving the industry 4.0 activities within the plant and digital transformation initiatives, implementing data-driven solutions, and recognizing associates who contribute improvement ideas through the BPS/I4.0 approach. It is responsible for delivering BPS and I4.0 training and serving as the BPS-I4.0 Value Stream Coordinator for production areas, facilitating continuous improvement, digital manufacturing, automation, and data-driven operational excellence. • Design and implement Industry 4.0 solutions including IoT systems, automation platforms, and data analytics frameworks to optimize production processes • Support BPS-I4.0 problem-solving workshops • Stay current with Industry 4.0 advancements and emerging technologies to maintain competitive advantage • Support I4.0 project execution and stabilization. • Manage I4.0 projects through execution and stabilization. Lead I4.0 projects from concept through stabilization. • Create and update dashboards, reports, and KPIs. Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs. • Design data models, KPIs, and advanced dashboards. • Support automation, analytics, and AI deployments. • Support automation, analytics, and AI deployment. Scale automation, analytics, AI, and MLOps solutions. • Develop and maintain basic software solutions. • Develop, operate, and maintain software. • Maintain I4.0 tools such as DRS and ANDON. • Govern software architecture, DevOps, and lifecycle. • Track project tasks, timelines, and actions • Proven experience (3+ years) working with Industry 4.0 technologies, smart manufacturing systems, or digital transformation initiatives • Strong proficiency in IoT platforms, industrial automation software, and data analytics tools • Knowledge of cloud technologies and edge computing applications in manufacturing environments • Demonstrated expertise in process optimization and lean manufacturing principles • Understanding of cybersecurity best practices specific to industrial and operational technology (OT) environments • Proficiency with industrial software and simulation tools • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with complex technical systems • Excellent organizational and project management capabilities • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams • Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred • Knowledge of Industry 4.0 standards and frameworks preferred Bosch amplía constantemente su presencia internacional, ya que para nosotros la diversidad cultural representa una de nuestras mayores fuerzas.
