The Opportunity Abbott Neuromodulation is seeking a Senior Research Scientist to contribute to innovative translational research programs focused on understanding the mechanisms of neuromodulation and advancing next-generation therapies. In this role, you will design and execute preclinical and clinical studies that integrate neuroscience, molecular biology, genetics, electrophysiology, digital health, and artificial intelligence to uncover biological drivers of therapeutic response. You will collaborate across research, clinical, engineering, regulatory, and data science teams to generate scientific evidence that informs therapy development, biomarker discovery, and personalized treatment approaches. This position is ideal for a scientifically curious and hands-on researcher who enjoys combining experimental design, data analysis, and translational science to solve complex biological and clinical questions.     What You'll Do • Design and execute preclinical, translational, and clinical research studies investigating the biological and physiological mechanisms of neuromodulation. • Develop and test hypotheses related to treatment response, neuroplasticity, neural signaling, and therapeutic outcomes. • Conduct multimodal studies integrating molecular, genetic, electrophysiological, imaging, behavioral, digital, and clinical datasets. • Contribute to the identification and validation of biomarkers associated with treatment response and mechanism of action. • Apply AI, machine learning, and advanced analytical methods to generate insights from complex biological and clinical data. • Collaborate with bioinformatics, data science, engineering, clinical, and regulatory teams to advance research programs. • Evaluate genomic, transcriptomic, proteomic, metabolomic, epigenetic, and other omics datasets to investigate biological mechanisms and therapeutic outcomes. • Analyze and interpret research findings and communicate results to scientific and cross-functional stakeholders. • Author scientific publications, technical reports, conference presentations, and invention disclosures. • Support collaborations with academic investigators, clinical researchers, and external research partners.   Required Qualifications • PhD in Neuroscience, Neurobiology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biomedical Engineering, Systems Biology, Compu
