A Day in the Life This role supports manufacturing operations at Medtronic's North Haven, Connecticut site. The position partners with production and engineering teams to maintain equipment performance, support process improvements, and help ensure manufacturing processes meet quality, safety, and regulatory requirements. This is a fully onsite position located in North Haven, CT with minimal to no travel required. In this role, you will provide technical support for manufacturing processes, equipment, and production operations. The position works closely with engineers and operations teams to monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot process issues, collect and analyze operational data, and support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance quality, efficiency, and compliance. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: • Support engineers in improving production cycle time, yield, quality, and operational efficiency • Monitor manufacturing equipment and instruments to ensure proper operation and performance • Collect and document operating, calibration, inspection, testing, and repair data • Troubleshoot equipment, instrumentation, and process-related issues to minimize production disruptions • Analyze equipment and process deviations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions • Prepare reports and trend analyses using operational, salvage, and performance metrics • Maintain process documentation in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and manufacturing requirements • Support compliance with quality, safety, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards Must Have: Minimum Requirements To be considered for this role, please ensure the minimum requirements are evident in your applicant profile. • High School Diploma or equivalent and 0+ years of technical, manufacturing, operations, or engineering support experience • Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, instrumentation, or production operations • Experience collecting, documenting, or analyzing operational data • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment or process-related issues • Experience working within established procedures and quality requirements Nice to Have • Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment • Experience with equipment calibration, inspection, testing, or maintenance activities • Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) • Experience supporting continuous improvement or process optimization initiatives For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
