The Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) portfolio delivers therapies designed to restore, support, and protect every heartbeat through advanced pacing, defibrillation, and remote monitoring solutions. Clinical impact and innovation come together to improve lives through meaningful patient outcomes.                     In this role, you will join the Cardiac Rhythm Management R&D organization as a Software Engineer focused on automated test development for implantable cardiac devices. You will design, develop, and maintain software applications and software architecture that support automated testing throughout the product development lifecycle, from concept through verification and release. You will play a key role in modernizing existing test infrastructure by transitioning legacy LabVIEW-based test solutions to scalable, maintainable Python and C# frameworks, and in driving the development and implementation of AI tools into the testing environment. Working closely with Design, Systems, and Test Engineers, you will translate product requirements into robust automated test systems that improve test coverage, reliability, and execution efficiency. Using Microsoft Visual Studio and C#, you will develop reusable class libraries (DLLs) that interface with LabVIEW and Python-based applications. You will leverage advanced C# features including object-oriented design principles, generics, asynchronous programming, LINQ, reflection, custom attributes, interfaces, dependency injection, and design patterns to create flexible and extensible test frameworks. Responsibilities may include developing metadata-driven architectures using reflection and custom attributes, implementing data processing and reporting solutions with LINQ, and creating APIs that enable seamless integration between test applications and hardware control systems. You will contribute to software architecture decisions, code reviews, continuous integration workflows, and automated validation strategies while ensuring compliance with software quality and medical device development processes. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, a passion for software craftsmanship, and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions that support life-saving medical technologies.   Responsibilities will include the following, other duties may be assigned. • Design, develop, and maintain software and software architecture for automated test systems supporting implantable cardiac devices. • Contribute to the definition of software architecture, interface design, and integration strategies for test automation platforms • Support the transition from LabVIEW based test solutions
