Title and Summary Vice President, Strategic Planning & Financial Operations, US Marcomms Vice President, Strategic Planning & Financial Operations, US Marcomms Overview The Vice President of Strategic Planning & Financial Operations plays a critical leadership role in translating U.S. Marketing & Communications priorities into an integrated, financially disciplined plan that delivers brand and business growth. This leader partners closely with U.S. marketing leadership, Finance, Services, and business stakeholders to shape annual and multiyear plans, manage budgets, cultivate ideas, and maximize the impact of marketing investment. The role connects strategic ambition with financial capacity—identifying efficiencies, advancing monetization opportunities, and projecting advertising and marketing (A&M) capacity to support existing commitments and future opportunities. As a trusted strategic and financial partner, this leader strengthens accountability across the organization, ensuring plans remain actionable, investments are monitored, and emerging risks are addressed. Role · Lead integrated U.S. Marketing & Communications planning, translating business priorities into clear objectives, investment requirements, timelines, and measurable outcomes. · Partner across consumer, B2B, product, sponsorship, and customer marketing teams to align plans, identify dependencies, and coordinate resources against shared priorities. · Cultivate ideas across the team, evaluate their strategic and commercial potential, and develop promising concepts into actionable proposals with clear business cases. · Own annual and multiyear budget planning, aligning investment with strategic priorities, campaign needs, and business outcomes. · Manage committed, planned, and incremental spending, providing clear visibility into financial performance, obligations, risks, and available funding. · Partner with Finance and budget owners to maintain accurate forecasts, reconcile spending, and deliver timely financial reporting. · Build forward-looking A&M capacity projections that account for existing commitments, anticipated costs, efficiencies, and incremental funding opportunities. · Develop investment scenarios and recommendations that help leadership address funding gaps, assess tradeoffs, and allocate resources to the highest-impact opportunities. · Identify and deliver budget efficiencies through coordinated planning, asset reuse, vendor optimization, and more effective deployment of resources. · Partner with Services and customer teams to advance monetization strategies for U.S. marketing assets, sponsorships, experiences, and capabilities, connecting customer demand with marketing priorities. · Evaluate the economics of commercialization opportunities, including upfront investment, delivery costs, revenue potential, margin, timing, and financial exposure. · Work with Finance and Services to clarify funding requirements, A&M and cost-of-goods-sold (COGS) treatment, and the resulting impact on marketing capacity. · Incorporate customer pipeline assumptions into financial projections, clearly distinguishing prospective revenue from committed funding, and track commercialization results against expected capacity creation. · Oversee vendor onboa
