Position Summary: The Director of Front Store Compliance leads a multifaceted team that is responsible for upholding the highest standards of professional services across our 9,000+ CVS pharmacy locations nationwide. This team operates at the critical intersection of store operations, regulatory compliance, and safety, mitigating significant fiduciary, regulatory, and reputational risks to the enterprise. This director and their team will focus on pricing accuracy, compliance signage, and other important front store compliance matters across the nation. In addition, the Director will oversee the Retail Operations Center of Excellence team, including initiatives related to pharmacy layout, equipment, immunizations, and e-Prescribing. Key Responsibilities • Lead the development and execution of front store compliance strategies, operational roadmaps, and governance programs that align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and key performance indicators • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, influencing enterprise-wide compliance strategy, policy decisions, prioritization, and execution across a dynamic retail environment • Partner cross-functionally with Retail Field Leadership, Store Operations, Merchandising, Legal, Regulatory, HR, Compliance, and IT teams to drive alignment, mitigate risk, and deliver business results • Oversee compliance program infrastructure, including policy and SOP development, training, audits, reporting, dashboards, and system enhancements that improve operational efficiency and field execution • Leverage data, reporting, and stakeholder insights to identify risks and opportunities, monitor performance, drive continuous improvement, and ensure accountability for key initiatives and deliverables • Develop innovative solutions, processes, and programs that address evolving business needs while adapting strategies to changing regulatory and operational requirements. • Build and lead a high-performing team through coaching, talent development, succession planning, and a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement Required Qualifications • 10+ years of leadership experience developing, implementing, and executing complex programs in multi-unit retail, healthcare, or pharmaceutical environments, with a demonstrated record of driving results and influencing outcomes • Deep expertise in retail store operations, regulatory compliance, and federal and state laws impacting front store operations, with the ability to assess enterprise-wide impacts and navigate complex business challenges • Proven ability to lead, develop, and retain high-performing teams through coaching, succession planning, talent development, and a strong commitment to building future leaders • Exceptional executive presence, communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience influencing partners and leaders at all levels, both with and without direct authority • Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint), a track record of high performance and customer focus, and the ability and willingness to travel up to 25% Preferred Qualifications • Advanced degree and 15+ years of experience developing,
