Position Summary The Medicare Business Analytics Internship experience is an 11-week full-time opportunity that starts on May 24th, 2027, and concludes on August 4th, 2027. This is a hybrid position with 3 days (generally Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) in the Hartford, CT office location. The other 2 days each week will be working remotely from home, office, or another location of your choice. CVS Health's hybrid work model provides office-based colleagues the ability to flex between working in the office and working from home based on the work you need to accomplish. Relocation assistance may be provided for candidates that qualify. As a CVS Health Corporate Intern you will participate in: • Projects that contribute to the success of our business • Community service activities • Professional development workshops • Mentorship and networking opportunities • Interaction with senior leaders The hourly rate is $26/hr with 40 hours/week, no work on July 4th (company holiday), and two days of paid leave. Additionally, our corporate interns have an increased likelihood to receive an offer for a future role with CVS Health. Sponsorship Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This includes participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), and F-1 Visa programs. About this Business Area This team is responsible for enterprise membership forecasting, market analytics, and operational planning that support profitable growth within the Individual Medicare business. By evaluating market trends, membership performance, competitive dynamics, and financial results, the team helps shape strategic decisions that impact products, markets, and business growth opportunities. Working closely with partners across Marketing, Sales, Analytics, and other business functions, the team delivers data-driven insights and reporting that support executive decision-making. Their work helps ensure CVS Health can effectively plan for future growth, optimize market opportunities, and deliver value to members and stakeholders. You Will Gain Valuable Work Experience and Participate In: • Analyzing membership, market, and financial data to support strategic business planning and decision-making • Developing reporting and analytical skills through market performance tracking and data reconciliation activities • Supporting post-bid planning initiatives for Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) and operating plan development • Learning how healthcare organizations evaluate growth opportunities through service area expansion and market analysis • Collaborating with cross-functional partners in Marketing, Sales, Analytics, and Finance to support strategic objectives • Creating reports, presentations, and business insights for leaders and key stakeholders • Monitoring business performance and identifying trends that support operational and financial planning activities • Gaining exposure to enterprise forecasting, profitability analysis, and Medicare market strategy Required Qualifications • Meet educational requirements (see Education section) Preferred Qualifications • Have demonstrated leadership experience.
