About the role
Field Reimbursement Manager, Oncology Pennsylvania-based field role supporting state of Pennsylvania EXCEPT Philadelphia proper. Shape access. Influence the system. Help patients start and stay on treatment. Bring your experience to complex oncology accounts, serve as a trusted reimbursement authority, and shape practical access strategies that connect provider needs, payer policy and internal strategy to reduce barriers for patients. This field-based individual-contributor role offers significant territory ownership and cross-functional visibility. You will partner with Market Access, Trade, Patient Support, Sales and Marketing while independently diagnosing account challenges and recommending compliant, customer-centered solutions. What you will do • Advise priority physician practices and institutional accounts on reimbursement, coverage and access challenges involving AstraZeneca oncology products. • Assess customer and market issues, identify root causes and recommend practical, compliant solutions. • Explain payer criteria, utilization-management requirements, benefit structures and reimbursement pathways clearly and accurately. • Build account and territory strategies with field and headquarters partners, using insights and analytics to prioritize activity and adjust plans. • Educate internal partners on reimbursement trends, emerging barriers and opportunities to strengthen account support. • Deliver provider education and manage territory resources, customer-program requests and required reporting effectively. Minimum qualifications: you can be successful in this role if you bring • Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of business experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals or biotechnology, including at least 2 years in pharmaceutical sales, managed care or reimbursement. • Command of reimbursement mechanisms, medical and pharmacy benefits, payer policy, utilization management, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements. • Track record of diagnosing access barriers and translating complex coverage requirements into practical, compliant guidance. • Credibility to influence sophisticated health systems, practices and cross-functional partners without formal authority. • Ability to build and adapt territory plans using account insight, market conditions and performance data. • Ability to spend most working time with accounts across Pennsylvania, excluding Philadelphia, and travel as business needs require. Pittsburgh represents the territory’s largest growth opportunity. Residence within, or ability to effectively support, this geography is required. Preferred experience: you will stand out if you have • Established field reimbursement or managed-markets expertise in oncology, specialty medicine or physician-administered products. • Experience advising health systems, infusion centers, community practices or specialty networks on buy-and-bill and other access pathways. • Oncology access experience spanning medical and pharmacy benefits, utilization management and site-of-care considerations. • Evidence that your field insight has shaped account strategy, business planning, customer education
