About the role
Job Title Internship: Global Health Economics, Market Access & Reimbursement (HEMAR) for Hospital Patient Monitoring (HPM) Job Description Start date: as soon as possible, but latest January 2027 Location: Amsterdam Duration: 6 months (or longer) Job title: Internship: Global Health Economics, Market Access & Reimbursement (HEMAR) for Hospital Patient Monitoring (HPM) Your role: Support Health Economics, Market Access and Reimbursement (HEMAR) activities for Philips Hospital Patient Monitoring. You will contribute to projects focused on demonstrating the clinical, economic and operational value of our solutions and supporting market access across different healthcare systems. Your activities may include health economic and market access research, literature reviews and evidence synthesis, analysis of reimbursement and funding pathways, and basic analysis of clinical and economic information. You will support the development and maintenance of value propositions, health economic tools, reports and presentations. The role also includes operational and administrative support, such as reviewing documents for completeness and accuracy, formatting and uploading approved materials, maintaining documentation, repositories and trackers, and supporting meeting preparation and action tracking. You will work closely with HEMAR colleagues and collaborate with cross-functional teams including Clinical, Medical, Marketing, Product Management and regional Market Access teams, progressively taking ownership of defined activities and deliverables. You're the right fit if: • Currently studying towards your University Bachelor or Master in: Health Economics, Health Sciences, Public Health, Biomedical Sciences, Economics, Healthcare Management, Health Technology Assessment, Epidemiology, Business Economics or a related study • Well-developed analytical, communication and collaboration skills (team player) • Proactive attitude, able to work independently and comfortable working with scientific, clinical and economic information • Willingness to further develop analytical and intellectual capabilities • Interest in health economics, market access, reimbursement, healthcare systems and the adoption of health technologies • Experience with literature reviews, data analysis, health economic modelling and/or healthcare research is an advantage • Have business fluency in English Compensation & benefits • Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on your education level and if you need to relocate to The Netherlands. Part-time internships receive the allowance pro-rata. • Housing compensation. Should you need to relocate to near our office, we’ll offer you a monthly allowance of €300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255,- net for all other Philips locations. To be eligible, we’ll just ask for the rental contract from your landlord, and your usual home-work travel distance needs to be more than 50 km or 1.5 hours of travel time (for a one way trip). • Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €192,- net as a monthly allowance. • Paid holidays per internship term. • The opportunity to buy Philips products at our Philips shop.
