About the role

Intellectual Property Release Specialist Company: The Boeing Company We are seeking a talented Information Release Specialist to join the Boeing Intellectual Property (BIP) team in Seattle, WA, Seal Beach, CA, Hazelwood, MO, Oklahoma City, OK, Mesa, AZ, Ridley Park, PA, or North Charleston, SC .  This position will oversee employee requests to publicly release Boeing information, coordinating with requesters and stakeholders to facilitate the release process from submittal through review and disposition. The position requires close collaboration and frequent communication with employees and leaders across the Boeing enterprise—including all functions, global locations, and Business Units—with the goal of protecting Boeing intellectual property. To be successful in this role you will need: • Analytical and critical-thinking skills • Ability to work across different functions (e.g., Law & Global Compliance, Engineering, Supply Chain) • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) • A self-motivated and persuasive personality with a positive attitude Position Responsibilities: • Facilitate the end-to-end processing of public information release requests • Daily collaboration with functional and business stakeholders to review and disposition release requests • Daily consultations with employees seeking approval for release of information • Ensure functional reviews are completed • Analyze data and metrics to identify trends and propose improvements • Identify awareness opportunities and create and provide responsive training • Solicit user feedback, assess and respond accordingly • Support additional BIP activities as required This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. Current expectation is a minimum of three days per week onsite. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.   Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): • 3+ years’ experience coordinating activities with multiple groups or organizations • Experience in Intellectual Property (IP) policies and procedures • Experience developing, contributing, and/or maintaining processes, policies, and procedures • Ability to lead an integrated team through personal influence without direct-line authority • Strong project management and execution skills   Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): • Bachelor’s Degree or higher • Experience with release of information processes at Boeing Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
