The Controllers Global Accounting (CGA) Senior Accountant is a key member of the Corporate Accounting organization, responsible for supporting accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance activities across a variety of accounting processes and business areas. Working under general supervision, the Senior Accountant applies accounting knowledge and analytical skills to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP, company policies, and regulatory requirements. The Senior Accountant is responsible for preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, balance sheet analyses, SOX controls and preparing supporting schedules and required deliverables as part of the month-end and quarter-end close processes. The role requires the ability to analyze financial data, investigate routine and moderately complex variances, research accounting guidance, and support the resolution of accounting and operational issues. The Senior Accountant manages assigned deliverables, prioritizes multiple responsibilities, and consistently meets reporting deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The Senior Accountant supports a strong control environment through execution of SOX controls, maintenance of process documentation, and compliance with internal policies and procedures. The role partners with cross-functional stakeholders to support operational and reporting objectives, participate in process improvement initiatives, and contribute to transformational projects that enhance efficiency, standardization, and value creation within the organization.
