Here, you will make an impact by: • Apply manufacturing and plant knowledge to define operational functionality and value • Lead the manufacturing process capability of Engineering and Maintenance systems at 3M • Work cross-functionally with other teams to align global capability with plant operating changes • Evaluate design and operational issues related to Engineering and Maintenance applications; assist in resolution • Lead gap solutioning and alternative problem solving • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of IT professionals, Thrive in a truly global environment with distributed geography, language, culture Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree or higher. (completed and verified prior to start) • Three (3) years of Enterprise Operations and/or Business Group manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment • Three (3) years of systems experience with IT, OT, or business process • Three (3) years of experience leading projects in a private, public, government or military environment Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: • Self-directed in identifying and assimilating unique job knowledge and resources • Experience coaching and mentoring employees • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors • Able to lead, influence, and inspire others Work location: • Maplewood, MN • This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN.
