What is The Role: We are looking for a dynamic Revenue Manager who is eager to collaborate and support significant growth at a global, publicly traded software company! Based in the US, this position will report directly to the Sr. Manager, Revenue Accounting. Are you well-versed in revenue accounting? What You Will Be Doing: • Being a key contributor to the ownership of Elastic Cloud Revenue. • Performing or reviewing revenue reconciliations and analysis, and managing complex, large datasets in support of the Revenue close process. • Assisting across all Elastic revenue contract reviews under ASC 606 guidance. • Determining appropriate revenue recognition for signed contracts. • Leading and reviewing UAT testing to drive Cloud Revenue system and process improvements. • Coordinating and managing auditing requests, including addressing auditor inquiries. • Developing technical accounting positions and drafting memos. • Evaluating revenue policies for scalability while maintaining consistency with ASC 606. • Identifying and executing on opportunities to improve existing processes and controls and minimize risk. • Developing and delivering internal training to enhance organizational revenue knowledge sharing. • Supporting cross-functional partners (Deal Desk, Order Ops, Billing/AR/Collections, FP&A, IT/Engineering). What You Bring: • A detailed understanding of ASC 606, including SaaS-related principles. • A general understanding of the Order-to-Cash process and the impact each step of the process can have on revenue. • An understanding of AI and the impact it can make on a daily basis. • Comfortability working independently in a distributed, dynamic, fast-paced environment. • Demonstrated ability to operate independently, manage competing priorities with composure in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate effectively with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Composure in evolving in ambitious circumstances. • The ability to project manage and balance multiple priorities. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • A positive and proactive demeanor. • A strong desire for learning, growth and development. • Exposure to consumption-based revenue accounting. • Big 4 and/or publicly traded technology company experience (preferred). • Experience with RevPro and NetSuite (preferred). • CPA or progress towards CPA certification (preferred). • Experience with Google Workspace and Gemini across Workspace (preferred). • Experience with Cloud Revenue from Marketplaces (preferred). • Experience with automated Business Intelligence (BI) reporting (preferred). #LI-JM5 Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary.
