About the role

Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Manager to lead cybersecurity expert consulting, services, training & penetration testing projects This role combines the responsibilities of a Project Security Manager and a Security Architect , ensuring that cybersecurity is embedded throughout the entire product lifecycle, from concept to post-production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cybersecurity engineering, secure architecture design, risk management, automotive or embedded systems security, customer-facing consulting, and regulatory compliance including ISO/SAE 21434, UN R155, CRA, NIS2, IEC 62443 or equivalent standards. Key Responsibilities • Act as the primary cybersecurity lead for customer projects. • Own cybersecurity planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle. • Define and maintain cybersecurity plans, schedules, work products, and project deliverables. • Coordinate multidisciplinary cybersecurity activities involving system, software, hardware, testing, cloud, and operations teams. • Lead customer discussions, audits, assessments, and cybersecurity reviews. • Ensure project compliance with contractual, regulatory, and organizational cybersecurity requirements. • Serve as the trusted cybersecurity advisor to customers, engineering teams, suppliers, and management. • Mentor engineers and project teams on cybersecurity best practices. • Conduct cybersecurity awareness and technical training sessions. • Influence security strategy across programs and product portfolios. • Responsible for account growth & delivering the projects within KPIs. • Support project acquisition & targets for the services engagement. Desired Qualifications Education • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Electronics, Telecommunications, Embedded Systems, or related field. Experience • 8-12 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, security architecture, or secure product development. • Minimum 3 years leading cybersecurity activities in complex engineering programs. • Experience working directly with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional engineering teams. Technical Skills • Threat Modeling / TARA • Cryptography and PKI • Embedded Security • Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) • Vulnerability Management • Security Testing Domain Expertise (Preferred) • Automotive Cybersecurity • Connected Vehicle Security Strong understanding of • ISO/SAE 21434 • UNECE R155 / R156 • ISO 24089 • CRA • NIS2 (Good to have) • ISO 27001 (Good to have) • IEC 62443 (Good to have) Preferred Certifications Any cybersecurity certifications / qualifications will be an added advantage.
