This is a hybrid or remote role, reporting to the VP of Corporate Communications in the Marketing & Communications department. As a primary storyteller for Zscaler, you will scale our corporate narrative by turning customer success stories, ThreatLabz research, and public sector engagements into high-impact market visibility across press, analyst, and digital channels. What you’ll do (Role Expectations) • Lead PR strategy and execution for customer stories, partnering with Customer Advocacy, Sales, and Customer Success to build an integrated content calendar • Mine internal and third-party data alongside ThreatLabz and research teams to surface compelling threat trends and seasonal narratives • Brief creative teams to produce data visualizations, infographics, and interactive content that elevate Zscaler's cybersecurity narrative • Pitch data-driven stories and research findings to tier-1 press, industry analysts, and social channels to drive market awareness • Build public sector communications initiatives, drafting GTM-aligned content and fostering relationships with trade and policy-adjacent media Who You Are (Success Profile) • You act like an owner. You take full accountability for building and scaling integrated comms engines across customer, data, and public sector workstreams. • You champion simplicity. You excel at translating complex cybersecurity research and technical datasets into compelling, accessible narratives. • You are customer-obsessed. What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications) • Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions to optimize outcomes within your functional domain • 8+ years of experience in PR, communications, or content marketing, ideally within B2B technology or SaaS • Demonstrated ability to discover and articulate narrative potential within complex datasets and brand partnerships • Proven experience collaborating with creative and design teams to produce data visualizations and interactive assets • Strong media relations track record with demonstrated success pitching press, analysts, and digital channels • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams across brand, data, and public polic
