Job Description: In a Typical Day as a Manager Electrical/Hardware Engineering, you would: • Provide direct and ongoing leadership for an organization of multiple individual contributors designing and developing engineering solutions and managing projects for electrical and electronic parts, subsystems, integrated circuitry, and algorithms. • Manage headcount, deliverables, schedules, and costs for multiple ongoing projects and programs, ensuring that resources are appropriately allocated and that goals, objectives, timelines, and budgets are met in accordance with program and organizational roadmaps. • Engage with program managers, marketing, supply chain, technical leaders, and executives to communicate program status, escalate issues, and guide and influence strategic decision-making. • Manage relationships with outsourced partners and suppliers, including setting expectations regarding deliverables, product quality, schedules, and costs; ensure that team members are effectively communicating and collaborating with outsourced resources. • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reductions. • Provide overall people-care management for direct reports, including hiring, setting and monitoring of annual performance plans, coaching, and career development; drives and fosters organization-wide performance standards, expectations, and practices to support ongoing team member and process development. • Perform other duties as assigned. What You Bring   Required • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field or experience. • 10+ years of engineering or related industry experience. • 5+ years of direct people management experience including leading teams and driving successful business outcomes. • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, develop teams, and effectively resolve conflicts. • Proven project management skills, including time and risk management, resource prioritization, and project structuring. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills abilities with a focus achieving business objectives. • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse audiences. • Fluency in English and the local language. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment. • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate, influence, and partner effectively across teams and stakeholders.
