Your role will be critical to ensuring the success of Target’s business initiatives and core retail operations. As a Sr Manager, Revenue Accounting , you’ll provide strategic direction and leadership to the Sales Settlement and Gift Card Accounting team, ensuring processes and controls are effective for timely and accurate financial statements. In this role, you’ll oversee the core accounting and controllership activities for Target-branded and third-party gift card issuance, redemption and breakage, as well as the settlement of Target digital and store sales and related expenses. You’ll provide accounting guidance and controllership support for new and evolving business initiatives, including payment platform evolution and innovation in gift card offerings. You’ll lead the team’s end-to-end accounting close processes, ensuring strong balance sheet reconciliations and effective execution of SOX and non-SOX controls. You’ll work with cross-functional partners to translate business operations and new initiatives into appropriate accounting and financial reporting outcomes. Some of these partners include Target Enterprise Services, Treasury, Tax, FP&A, Legal, Finance Capabilities and Target Technology. Using your influencing skills, you’ll advocate for Controllership in enterprise-wide initiatives and system modernizations impacting gift card accounting and sales settlement, ensuring new solutions support accurate and timely financial reporting, effective controls and operational excellence. You’ll also drive continuous improvement through automation, standardization, technology and analytics while providing leadership, coaching and development to build a collaborative, high-performing team and strengthen organizational capability. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs. About you: • B.A./B.S. degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance. • 6+ years of accounting, finance, or relevant business experience. • CPA and/or public acc
